About time!
It's been a while since an update, but now that school is over and summer is upon us it's a bit easier to remember to take a few minutes and let everyone know what's going on.
The house is going to be getting some major repairs, including the entire roof, some ceilings and walls, and of course, the obligatory landscaping that comes with summer. This year we welcomed 9 new brothers (five in the fall, four in the spring) to the Circle of Zeta Psi, and we are all excited about the potential for these new Zetes to become great leaders in the years to come.
This year is especially special for the Canadian chapters of Zeta Psi, because the Alpha Psi chapter in Montreal will be hosting this year's Convention. The Theta Xi chapter (Toronto) is looking to put together a massive group of us and try to outnumber the American representatives, all in the spirit of national pride, of course. Once there, I'm sure everyone will soak up the city equally with some great events, and the Grand Banquet on Saturday night.
If you think you'd like to go, you can check out some more information on the international Zeta Psi website. I'm sure our chapter will be there in full force, hopefully sporting something equally as awesome as last year's moustache brigade.
Summer, Convention, and 2007
Hope everyone had a great summer--it's time for things to pick up again. This August, five brothers were in attendance at our 160th Annual Convention, representing our chapter and Canada very well. There's a slideshow available of the 4 days that we spent there, among many other Zetes, old and young.
Now that September has rolled around again, it's time for recruitment. If you're a prospective pledge, you're in for some fun in the next few weeks:

If you have any questions at all about fraternity life or Zeta Psi, you can talk to our Rush Chairman, Matt Bergmann. He might even say "damn glad to meet ya". We encourage everyone who is interested in becoming a Zete to check out our international website to get an idea of our history and our philanthropy and networking programs.
Study hard!
Year End Wrap-Up
The end of another school year has come, and everyone still in London for the summer will be making the most of the warm weather to make some much-needed repairs to the house.
First off, please help us welcome our spring class, consisting of JP, Nathan, Alex H., and Alex S. Nathan is a legacy; the son of John Dal Bello, who was a member of this chapter in the early 1980s. Here they are with next year's President, Matt Ashwood, again in front of our beloved escutcheon.

Next, the Elders' Association will be holding an Annual General Meeting at the house in London on Saturday, May 26th at 3pm. For more information, contact the outgoing Elder Phi, Andrew Brown.
Finally, many of us are planning to attend this year's conference in Lincoln, Nebraska. If you are a brother, but do not have any information on the convention, you can check out the itinerary on zetapsi.org. If money becomes and issue and people are unable to attend, we will still be sending a representative, so we hope to see as many brothers there as possible.
It's been a great year--we started with only a handful of members due to the mass graduation but will be starting September with over double that amount. Thanks to all of the people who made it happen, and a very special thanks to the Elders who donated to our chapter this year. There were many of you, so I will avoid naming names as I'm sure I will forget somebody.
